This page is for couples choosing between Dubai and Istanbul,
planning a pre-wedding session in one city and the wedding in the other,
or looking for one visual direction across celebrations in both locations.

The Purpose of This Page

When Does a Dubai and Istanbul Wedding Photographer Make Sense?

You Are Choosing Between the Cities

Compare the visual atmosphere, travel, weather, venue rules and guest logistics before deciding which city best supports the celebration.

Your Events Are Split Across Both

An engagement, Nikah, family event or pre-wedding session may take place in one city while the main wedding takes place in the other.

You Want One Visual Direction

Using one lead photographer or one coordinated production brief can keep colour, portrait direction, privacy and album design consistent.

Your Families Are in Different Countries

A shared plan can identify which relatives, rituals and formal groups must be photographed in each location.

You Need Photo and Film Together

One proposal can define lead roles, local support, audio, film deliverables and travel responsibilities without combining unrelated services vaguely.

You Need Honest Location Planning

The proposal should state which team travels, whether local crew is used, what permissions remain conditional and where meetings are held.

This page does not replace the dedicated Dubai or Istanbul portfolios.
It explains how to plan when the couple’s decision or celebration involves both cities.

Two Cities, Different Production Conditions

Dubai and Istanbul Should Not Be Planned as Interchangeable Locations

Planning Area Dubai Istanbul
Operating Model Fere Studio’s licensed business base is in Dubai, with consultations scheduled through the Contact page. Istanbul assignments and private consultations are scheduled by appointment as destination production; no public walk-in Istanbul studio is claimed.
Visual Character Modern architecture, hotel interiors, desert, beach and controlled indoor production can create clean contemporary variety. Bosphorus settings, urban streets, historic architecture, hotels and private venues can create layered city and cultural context.
Climate Planning Heat, humidity and indoor–outdoor transitions can affect portrait timing, attire, equipment and guest comfort. Seasonal rain, wind, colder months and changing daylight require a location-specific backup plan.
Movement Travel between hotels, desert, beach and city locations can involve significant road time and venue-security access. Traffic, bridges, ferries, pedestrian streets and historic districts can change transfer time even between nearby-looking locations.
Permissions Hotels, private property, managed locations and qualifying professional media productions can require venue approval, NOC or DFTC process. Private venues, museums, National Palaces, heritage properties and qualifying foreign productions can follow separate approval processes.
Production Support Dubai-based equipment and team planning can reduce travel complexity for UAE events. The proposal may combine the lead creative team with approved local production support where practical and stated in writing.

One Team, Separate Teams or a Hybrid?

Choose the Production Model Before Comparing Prices

One Lead Team Across Both Cities

Useful when style consistency, family familiarity, one privacy policy and one album or film narrative are priorities.

Separate Local Teams

Can be more practical when events overlap, budgets cannot absorb travel or each celebration needs a fully independent local operation.

Lead Photographer + Local Support

A hybrid model can preserve the visual direction while using local assistants, production contacts or second shooters for logistics and parallel coverage.

“The same brand in two cities” does not automatically mean the same people will attend every event.
The contract should identify the lead photographer, team structure and replacement process for each date.

Common Two-City Coverage Models

Build the Proposal Around the Actual Events

The city names alone do not define the workload.
Dates, event structure, travel, cultural ceremonies, privacy and deliverables determine the team.

Dubai Wedding + Istanbul Pre-Wedding

Use Istanbul for a separate couple session while keeping the main wedding production in Dubai.

Istanbul Wedding + Dubai Engagement

Document the UAE family event before travelling for the main celebration in Türkiye.

Multi-Day Events in Both Cities

Build separate run sheets, team numbers and delivery expectations for each city instead of selling one undefined “full package.”

A Practical Booking Workflow

How to Plan Wedding Photography Across Dubai and Istanbul

1. Confirm Both Date Windows

Provide fixed dates, flexible dates and the minimum travel gap between events before asking for one combined proposal.

2. List Every Event

Separate engagement, preparation, ceremony, cultural rituals, reception, pre-wedding, after-party and family sessions by city.

3. Define the Lead Team

Confirm who travels, who leads each event, whether local support is used and who is responsible for the final edit.

4. Review Locations and Permissions

Obtain written venue rules, access hours, portrait permissions, sound restrictions and any production or location approval.

5. Build Separate Run Sheets

Each city needs its own transport, preparation, ceremony, family photo, portrait, reception and contingency timeline.

6. Combine the Delivery Plan

State whether photographs and films are delivered by event, by city or together as one completed collection.

Travel Production

Details That Should Appear in a Two-City Proposal

  • Named lead photographer and videographer for each event
  • Travel days, flight flexibility, accommodation and local transport
  • Checked equipment, hand-carried equipment and backup strategy
  • Local assistant, fixer, driver or production-company responsibilities
  • Venue load-in, access, parking, storage and security requirements
  • Permit, NOC, museum, palace, private-location and public-space responsibilities
  • Weather alternative, traffic allowance and location substitutions
  • Overtime, travel disruption, rescheduling and cancellation terms
  • Image selection, retouching, film editing and album responsibility
  • Privacy, publication and cross-border file-delivery terms
Travel fees should not be hidden inside a vague premium label.
The proposal should distinguish creative coverage from flights, hotels, local transport, permits and external production costs.

Photography and Film Approach

Keep the Visual Language Consistent Without Making Both Cities Look the Same

Documentary Moments

Family relationships, ceremonies and guest reactions should remain authentic to each event rather than being recreated for continuity.

Directed Portraits

Consistent posture, lighting judgment and communication can connect the two galleries while respecting different locations and clothing.

Colour and Editing

A shared editing direction can create one collection without forcing Dubai light and Istanbul weather into an artificial identical grade.

Film and Audio

Vows, speeches, ambient sound and music rights should be planned separately for each event and then structured into the final films.

Album Narrative

A two-city album needs a clear sequence, city transitions and an agreed number of images from each celebration.

Private and Public Editions

A private family gallery can remain complete while a separately approved portfolio selection excludes restricted guests or ceremonies.

Privacy in Two Jurisdictions

Photography, Private Delivery and Publication Are Separate Decisions

UAE Consent and Personal Data

Official UAE guidance says not to photograph people without permission, and UAE law treats identifiable names, voices and images as personal data.

Türkiye Personal Data Rules

Türkiye’s KVKK defines personal data broadly and places duties on those collecting, storing, transferring or publishing identifiable information.

Publication Is Not Automatic

Private wedding coverage does not automatically grant permission for websites, advertising, competitions, social media or public film releases.

Female Team Options

Female photographers or videographers can be requested for preparation, women-only halls or private ceremonies according to availability and city logistics.

Separate-Hall Coverage

Simultaneous areas require enough team members and a written priority plan in both cities.

Cross-Border Delivery

Where files are transferred, stored or edited across borders, the responsible parties should review the applicable contract and data-protection requirements.

Venue, Production and Drone Permissions

A UAE Licence Does Not Create Automatic Approval in Türkiye

Dubai Professional Production

Dubai Film and TV Commission states that qualifying professional media productions, including photography, use a permit process through a UAE-licensed production company.

Istanbul and Türkiye Locations

Foreign film or video productions can require a Ministry of Culture and Tourism filming permit, while venues, museums, heritage sites and National Palaces can have separate image rules.

Private Wedding Documentation

Not every private wedding follows the same commercial-production route. The venue, organiser and production partners should verify the exact requirement.

Drone in the UAE

Professional drone photography follows GCAA registration, security, airspace and operational requirements and remains conditional.

Drone in Türkiye

Türkiye maintains UAV registration and flight-permission systems; foreign operators and location-specific flights can require additional advance approval.

No Permit Guarantee

Trade licences, academic credentials and residence status do not guarantee approval from venues, aviation authorities, museums or government bodies.

Professional Background Without Superlatives

Credentials Should Support the Work, Not Replace Evidence

23 Years of Experience

The studio’s established experience can support planning, lighting decisions and multi-day production, but each wedding still needs a specific proposal.

Academic Background

Dr Saeed Arab’s site biography presents a PhD in Art from Italy and a DBA. These details should be linked to the About page rather than repeated as proof of being “the best.”

UAE Golden Visa

The Golden Visa is part of the professional background; it does not replace venue, production, privacy, customs or Turkish permission requirements.

Verified Dubai Production Experience

A Two-Day Burj Al Arab Wedding as a Production Example

A verified two-day wedding production at Burj Al Arab involved approximately 250 guests,
two photographers, five videographers and a twelve-person total team.

2 Event DaysApprox. 250 Guests2 Photographers
5 Videographers12-Person Total TeamClient Not Publicly Named

Approximately 2,500 files were captured. The photographic delivery included approximately
500 final photographs, with 200 selected images receiving professional retouching.
Album and personal-use delivery were part of the wider project.

The event year and client identity are not publicly stated. This was a Dubai production,
not a Dubai–Istanbul two-city case study, and it is not presented as one.

The transferable lesson is production discipline: separate roles, guest and camera flow,
audio planning, privacy, retouching scope and final delivery must be defined before a large or travelling team begins work.

Delivery Across Both Cities

Define Whether the Project Is One Collection or Two

Separate City Galleries

Useful when events have different guest groups, privacy rules or delivery deadlines.

One Combined Gallery

Useful when the couple wants one chronological archive, provided file naming and city separation remain clear.

Retouched Selection

Detailed retouching should state how many images are selected from each city and who approves the final list.

Highlight and Documentary Films

Confirm whether each city receives a separate film or both events are edited into one narrative.

Album Design

Page count, city balance, revision rounds, printing and delivery location should be written into the proposal.

Archive and Privacy

Ask how long files remain available, where galleries are hosted and how restricted images are separated.

Frequently Asked Questions

Dubai and Istanbul Wedding Photographer FAQ

Is Fere Studio permanently based in both Dubai and Istanbul?

Fere Studio is described as Dubai-based. Istanbul projects and private consultations are scheduled by appointment; this page does not claim a public walk-in Istanbul studio.

Can the same photographer cover events in both cities?

Yes, when dates, travel, team availability, permissions and production scope allow. The contract should name the lead photographer for each event.

Can we arrange a pre-wedding session in Istanbul and a wedding in Dubai?

Yes. Each city should have its own location plan, access rules, weather alternative, timeline and deliverables.

Are travel costs included automatically?

No universal inclusion should be assumed. Flights, accommodation, baggage, local transport, permits and external production support should be itemised.

Does the UAE trade licence cover professional work in Türkiye?

No. UAE business credentials do not replace Turkish venue, filming, privacy, customs, employment or aviation requirements.

Can a female photography or video team be arranged?

Female team options can be requested for preparation, women-only spaces or private ceremonies, subject to dates, travel and local availability.

Is drone coverage guaranteed in Dubai or Istanbul?

No. Aerial work remains conditional on current aviation, security, airspace, property, location, operator and weather approval in the relevant country.

Can both events remain private and unpublished?

Yes. Website, portfolio, advertising and social-media use can be limited or excluded in the written agreement, with private galleries and restricted delivery where required.
