Which photography is best for wedding?

Explore Selecting the ideal wedding photography style is contingent upon the tastes of the couple and the types of moments they hope to document.

Secrets to great wedding photography:

Explore Great wedding photography is a combination of technical skills, creativity, and understanding the couple’s needs. According to articles and analysis here are some secrets to achieving great wedding photography: *Start Searching Early for a Pro: About a year before your wedding date, start your search. Ask recently married couples you know for photographer recommendations and browse Instagram, photographer portfolios and real weddings for pros whose styles inspire you1. *Think Critically: As you review photos, consider key moments you want to capture at your own wedding: Did this shooter get great shots, like candid dance floor snaps and posed family portraits, you’d also like? Look for thoughtful compositions and to see if images and people are in focus1. *Set Up a Meeting: You can’t always properly vet a photographer by looking solely at their work. Once you have a short list of pros whose work you like—and you’ve determined they’re in your price range and free on your date—set up an in-person or video-chat meeting1. *Compare Packages: Ask what’s included in the standard package, plus any additional fees (think: overtime fees). In particular, find out how many hours of shooting are included1. *Confirm Your Shooter(s): Larger studios may have more than one photographer on staff, and depending on your contract, the lead one may not be the one shooting your day1. *Trust Your Photographer: In addition to choosing a photographer who’s shot their share of weddings, you’ll want to select someone who you’re compatible with2. *Schedule an Engagement Shoot: Doing an engagement shoot before the wedding is important not only to capture that beautiful chapter of your love story, but also because it gives you and your photographer time to build a rapport and get comfortable with one another2. *Get Your Hair and Makeup Professionally Done: Makeup looks quite a bit different on camera than in person, so some brides will think they are wearing too much makeup, especially if they’re not used to wearing makeup and then look at their photos and realize they just look flawless2. Remember, the best photographer for your wedding is the one whose style you love and its fits within your budget. It’s always a good idea to look at their portfolio and meet with them before making a decision12.
