How to Plan Wedding Photography in Bali
Choose the wedding region before building the photo timeline
Uluwatu, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua and Ubud have very different travel, light and venue conditions. Keep the ceremony and guest experience first, then design portrait time around the real region.
Confirm resort and outside-vendor access
Ask the venue about photographer/vendor fees, crew access, preparation rooms, portrait areas, lighting, drone rules, sound feeds, transport and backup plans before booking the final production.
Treat Bali traffic as part of the photography schedule

Indonesia’s Directorate General of Immigration has publicly documented deportation cases involving foreign nationals who worked as photographers in Bali under immigration status that did not permit that activity, including a case involving Visa on Arrival. Official immigration guidance also classifies paid professional activity as work-related activity.
